We celebrate in the achievements and lives of our community members. In The Advertiser, Saturday 2 March, appeared a wonderful eulogy for Duane Hobbs (’84) to celebrate his life story. Duane passed away recently from complications following knee surgery. He is remembered at Westminster as a talented sportsman with a particular passion for Australian Rules Football. Highlighted was his love of all things outdoors, including his passion for football. He was honoured by Kangarilla Football Club no less than five times as their Best and Fairest. Our thoughts are with Duane’s mother Meredith, sister Belinda (’87), partner Jenni and his family.

We also pay tribute to Ray Irons, a past parent and grandparent of Westminster, who passed away on Friday 1 March. Ray’s family connections at Westminster are well known and longstanding - sons Gary (’72) , Craig (’76) and the late  Brett (’76) and Dean. Grandchildren include Tracy ('90), Nicole (’92), Shane (’92) and Belinda (’94). Our thoughts are with his wife Norma and the family.
